soundKonverter needs the following packages:
KDE >= 4.4 
taglib >= 1.4 
cdparanoia
libkcddb
gettext-tools
cmake

Linux installation:

Download soundKonverter zip or tar file.
Extract to the desired location in the file system.
use the following commands-
>mkdir build
>cd build
>cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix` 
>make
>sudo make install
