File formats supported by abiword

How to install Abiword on Ubuntu

  1. Open Terminal: You can find the terminal either through your applications menu or by using a system dash to search for "Terminal".

  2. Update Package List: Before installing new packages, it's good practice to update your package list. Run the following command: 
    sudo apt update

  3. Install AbiWord: Use the following command to install AbiWord along with its dependencies:

    sudo apt install abiword

  4. Complete Installation: After entering your password when prompted, wait for the installation process to complete. Once finished, you can start using AbiWord.
